In 1996 “Champions for a Drug Free Kentucky” was established. Its mission: “To promote the prevention of the abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs and the reduction of violence in Kentucky communities.” Today, Champions for a Drug Free Kentucky is a network of anti-drug coalitions found in every geographic region of the Commonwealth. The Pendleton County Champions Coalition was chartered in July 2003.

The Pendleton County Champions brand incorporates a paper plane, a symbol recognized by both young and old, insinuating a positive, upward direction. This positive direction embodies the mission of alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention along with reducing violence in Pendleton County.

We developed this brand to incorporate colors that are vibrant and express the enthusiastic personality of the Pendleton County Champions and the purpose behind their cause.
